(36) باب مَا يَقُولُ إِذَا سَمِعَ الْمُؤَذِّنَ

(186) Chapter: What Should Be Said When One Hears The Mu'adhdhin (JA)

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ إِذَا سَمِعَ الْمُؤَذِّنَ يَتَشَهَّدُ قَالَ " وَأَنَا وَأَنَا " .

'A'ishah said that when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) heard the MU'ADHDHIN uttering the testimony, he would say:
"And I too, and I too". (JA)
