(8) باب تَحْرِيمِ الْهَجْرِ فَوْقَ ثَلاَثٍ بِلاَ عُذْرٍ شَرْعِيٍّ

(8) Chapter: The Prohibition Of Forsaking Someone For More Than Three Days For No Legitimate Reason (JA)

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ - عَنِ الْعَلاَءِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ هِجْرَةَ بَعْدَ ثَلاَثٍ " .

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
There should be no estranged relations beyond three days. (JA)
