Narrated `Aishah:
May Allah bestow His Mercy on the earlyemigrant women. When Allah revealed:"... and to draw their veils all over theirJuyubihinna (i.e., their bodies, faces, necksand bosoms)..." (V.24:31) they tore theirMurat (woolen dresses or waist-bindingclothes or aprons etc.) and covered theirheads and faces with those torn Muruts. (JA)
