باب 23

(23) باب قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى { لاَ يَحِلُّ لَكُمْ أَنْ تَرِثُوا النِّسَاءَ كَرْهًا وَلاَ تَعْضُلُوهُنَّ }

(689) Chapter: Regarding Allah's Statement: It Is Not Permitted For You To Inherity Women Against Their Will... And Do Not Prevent Them From Re-Marrying (JA)

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ شَبُّويَةَ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، مَوْلَى عُمَرَ عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ، بِمَعْنَاهُ قَالَ فَوَعَظَ اللَّهُ ذَلِكَ .


The aforesaid tradition has also been transmitted by Al Dahhak to the same effect through a different chain of narrators. This version has Allaah prohibited that (practice). (JA)
