(9) باب تَحْزِيبِ الْقُرْآنِ

(477) Chapter: On Fixing A Part From The Qur'an For Daily Recitation (JA)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ، أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلاَءِ، يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَمْرٍو - قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ يَفْقَهُ مَنْ قَرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ فِي أَقَلَّ مِنْ ثَلاَثٍ " .

Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: He who recites the Qur'an in a period less than three days does not understand it. (JA)
