(72) باب الْقِرَاءَةِ فِيهَا بِالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ

(72) Chapter: Reciting "By the fig and the olive" in Isha' (JA)

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، قَالَ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْعَتَمَةَ فَقَرَأَ فِيهَا بِالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ .

It was narrated that Al-Bara' bin Azib said:
"I prayed Al-'Atamah (Isha') with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and he recited 'By the gif and the olive' in it. (JA)
