It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that he heard that people were leasing out land more. He said:
"Subhan-Allah, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Why does not one of you lend it to his brother?' But he did not forbid leasing it out.' " (JA)
