(17) باب مَا جَاءَ فِي النَّهْىِ عَنِ اخْتِنَاثِ الأَسْقِيَةِ

(17) Chapter: What Has Been Related About The Prohibition Of Beding The Mouths Of Water-Skins

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، رِوَايَةً أَنَّهُ نَهَى عَنِ اخْتِنَاثِ الأَسْقِيَةِ، . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ، وَابْنِ، عَبَّاسٍ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

'Ubaidullah bin 'Abdullah narrated a report (of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) from Abu Sa'eed, that he prohibited bending the mouths of the water-skins.He said:
There are narrations on this topic from Jabir, Ibn 'Abbas, and Abu Hurairah.[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.
