44

Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said that theMessenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, stimulated people for jihad and mentioned the Garden. One of the Ansarwas eating some dates in his hand, and said, "Am I so desirous of thisworld that I should sit until I finish them?" He threw aside what wasin his hand and took his sword, and fought until he was slain .
