Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard the people ofknowledge say, "Women do not have to raise their voices when they aredoing talbiya, and a woman should only speak loudly enough to hearherself."Malik said, "Some one who is in ihram should notraise his voice when doing talbiya if he is in a mosque where thereare groups of people. He should only speak loudly enough for himselfand those who are near him to be able to hear, except in the MasjidalHaram and the mosque at Mina, where he should raise his voice."Malik said, "I have heard some of the people of knowledgerecommending (people to do) talbiya at the end of every prayer and atevery rise on the route."
