حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يُغَيِّرُ الاِسْمَ الْقَبِيحَ .

Narrated 'Aishah:
that the Prophet (ﷺ) would change offensive names.Abu Bakr bin Nafi said: "Sometimes 'Umar bin 'Ali would narrated this Hadith: "Hisham bin 'Urwah from his father, from the Prophet (ﷺ),' in Mursal form, and he would not mention 'from 'Aishah' in it."
