AbuSa'eed Al-Khudri said:
"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to goout on the day of 'Eid and lead the people in praying two Rak'ah,thenhe would say the Salam and stand on his two feet facing thepeoplewhile they were sitting down. He would say: 'Give incharity. Give incharity.' Those who gave most in charity were thewomen, (they wouldgive) earrings and rings and things. If he wantedto send out anexpedition he would mention it, otherwise he wouldleave."
