(48) باب فِي الْفَأْرَةِ تَقَعُ فِي السَّمْنِ

(48) Chapter: If a mouse falls into the ghee

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ، أَنَّ فَأْرَةً، وَقَعَتْ، فِي سَمْنٍ فَأُخْبِرَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ " أَلْقُوا مَا حَوْلَهَا وَكُلُوا " .

Maimunah said:
A mouse fell into clarified butter. The Prophet (ﷺ) was informed of it. He said: Throw what is around it and eat.
