Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that when Abdullah ibnUmar used to do ghusl for major ritual impurity he would begin bypouring water on his right hand and washing it. Then, in order, hewould wash his genitals, rinse his mouth, snuff water in and out ofhis nose, wash his face and splash his eyes with water. Then he wouldwash his right arm and then his left, and after that he would wash hishead. He would finish by having a complete wash and pouring water allover himself.
