باب 16

(16) باب كَرَاهَةِ الصَّلاَةِ بِحَضْرَةِ الطَّعَامِ الَّذِي يُرِيدُ أَكْلَهُ فِي الْحَالِ وَكَرَاهَةِ الصَّلاَةِ مَعَ مُدَافَعَةِ الأَخْبَثَيْنِ

(16) Chapter: It is disliked to offer salat in the presence of food that one wants to eat. It is disliked to offer salat while restraining the urge to relieve oneself, and so on

أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِذَا حَضَرَ الْعَشَاءُ وَأُقِيمَتِ الصَّلاَةُ فَابْدَءُوا بِالْعَشَاءِ " .

Anas b. Malik reported the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying:
When the supper is brought and the prayer begins, one, should first take food.
