Yahya related to me from Malik, from Hisham ibn Urwa, from hisfather, that az-Zubayr ibn al-Awwam used to take dried gazelle meat(safif adh-dhiba) as provisions while he was in ihram.Maliksaid, "Safif are dried strips of meat."
