(72) باب هَلْ يُوجِبُ تَقْلِيدُ الْهَدْىِ إِحْرَامًا .

(72) Chapter: Does Garlanding The Hadi Mean That One is In A state of Ihram?

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنِي أَفْتِلُ قَلاَئِدَ هَدْىِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنَ الْغَنَمِ فَيَبْعَثُ بِهَا ثُمَّ يُقِيمُ فِينَا حَلاَلاً .

It was narrated that Aishah said:
"I remember twisting the garlands for the sacrificial sheep of the Messenger of Allah, then he sent them and stayed with us as a non-Muhrim (not in a state of Ihram)."
