It wasnarrated that Jabir bin 'Abdullah said:
"We used to recite theOpening of the Book and a Surah behind the Imam in the first twoRak'ah of the Zuhr and the 'Asr, and in the last wo Rak'ah (wewouldrecite) the Opening of the Book."
