وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ دِينَارٍ مَا كَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ يَصْنَعُ بِجِلاَلِ بُدْنِهِ حِينَ كُسِيَتِ الْكَعْبَةُ هَذِهِ الْكِسْوَةَ قَالَ كَانَ يَتَصَدَّقُ بِهَا .


Yahya related to me from Malik that he asked Abdullah ibn Dinarwhat Abdullah ibn Umar used to do with the drapings of his animalswhen the Kaba began to be draped with the kiswa, and he said, "He gavethem away as sadaqa."
