Masjid Ra’ yah (masjid of the flag) is located on the spot where the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) had his flag planted when he conquered Mecca. It is also known as Masjid Jowdariyyah. The mosque was demolished in 2009 (1431 AH).
