Boyacı Mosque

The Boyacı Mosque, or "Painter's Mosque," is one of the oldest mosques in Gaziantep. It was constructed in 1357 during the Turkish Mamluk era. Ömeriye Camii 

The Ömeriye Mosque holds great importance as one of the oldest mosques in Gaziantep city, Turkey. It is said that the mosque was built in the 8th century under the rule of Umayyad Caliph Ömer Bin Abdülaziz. If this is true, then this mosque is truly historical, being one of the main sites of the Islamic religion in the entire city. It also has another name, which is "Ömereyn," meaning 'two Ömers.'. 

Some people also believe that Hazrat Umar himself constructed it, and it was later renovated by the great Omar Bin Abdulaziz. The crown door and the mihrab of the mosque are interwoven with white-black stones.  Beautifully crafted pieces with engraved stones are present on the minaret's railings.
