Ramadan is a month of blessings for Muslims across the globe. This month upholds Sawm (to fast), one of the 5 pillars of the Islamic faith. Apart from staying away from food and water, Ramadan is a month Muslims spend repenting for their sins and engaging in good deeds to invoke Allah's blessings. Allah says in the Quran: "Those who believe and find peace in their hearts from the contemplation of God: Surely there is peace of heart in the contemplation of God!" – (al-Quran 13:28). Thirty duas for the thirty days of Ramadan are listed below. Recite these duas to make the most of this blessed month.
1st day of Ramadan
Allahumma aj°al Siyami fihi Syama as-Sa’imin, wa qiyyami fihi qiyyama-l-qa’imiina,wa-nnabihini fihi °an nawmatil-ghafiliina, wa habli-jurmii fihi ya ilaha al°alamiina, wa °afuw°annii, ya °afiyan °an al-mujrimiin
O Allah, on this day make my fasts the fasts of those who fast (sincerely), and my standing up in prayer of those who stand up in prayer (obediently), awaken me in it from the sleep of the heedless, and forgive me my sins , O God of the worlds, and forgive me, O one who forgives the sinners
2nd day of Ramadan
Allahumma qarribni fihi ila mardhatika wa jannibni fihi min sakhatika wa naqimatika, wa waffiqni fihi liqira°ti ayatika, bi-rahmatika ya arham ar-rahimina
O Allah, on this day, take me closer towards Your pleasure, keep me away from Your anger and punishment, grant me the opportunity to recite Your verses (of the Qur'an), by Your mercy, O the most Merciful
3rd day of Ramadan
Allahumma rziqni fihi-th-thihina wa-t-tanbiha, wa ba°adni fihi min assafahati wa-t-tamwihi wa aj°al li nasiban min kulla khayr thunzilo fihi bi judika ya ajwad al-ajwadin
O Allah, on this day, grant me wisdom and awareness, keep me away from foolishness and pretention, grant me a share in every blessing You send down, by You generosity, O the most Generous
4th day of Ramadan
Allahumma qawwini fihi°ala iqamati amrika, wa athiqni fihi halawati thikrika, wa awzi°ni fihi li-ada°i shukraka bi-karamika, wa ahfidhni fihi bi-hifdhika wa satrika, ya absar an-nadhiriin
O Allah, on this day, strengthen me in carrying out Your commands, let me taste the sweetness of Your rememberance, grant me, through Your graciousness, that I give thanks to You. Protect me, with Your protection and cover, O the most discerning of those who see
5th day of Ramadan
Allahumma j°alni fihi min al-mustaghfirina, wa aj°alni fihi min °ibadaka as-salihin al-qanitina, wa aj°alni fihi min awliya’ik al-muqarrabina, bi-ra’fatika ya ar-ham ar-rahimina
O Allah, on this day, place me among those who seek forgiveness. Place me among Your righteous and obedient servants, and place me among Your close friends, by Your kindness, O the most Merciful
6th day of Ramadan
Allahumma la takh-thilni fihi lita°arrodhi ma°siyatika, wa la tadhribnii bisiyati naqimatika, wa zahzihnii fihi min mujibati sakhatika bi-mannaka wa ayadika ya montaha raghbati-r-raghibiina
O Allah, on this day, do not let me abase myself by incurring Your disobedience, and do not strike me with the whip of Your punishment, keep me away from the causes of Your anger, by Your kindness and Your power, O the ultimate wish of those who desire
7th day of Ramadan
Allâhumma a°innî fîhi °alâ siyâmihi wa qiyâmihi, wa jannibnî fîhi min hafawâtihi wa âthâmihi, wa-rzuqnî fîhi thikrika wa shukraka bi-dawâmihi, bi-Tawfîqika, yâ Hâdiy-al-modhillîn-a
O Allah, on this day, help me with its fasts and prayers, and keep me away from mistakes and sins of the day, grant me that I remember You continously through the day, by Your assistance, O the Guide of those who stray
8th day of Ramadan
Allâhumma ar-zuqnî fîhi rahmat-il-aytâmi, wa it°âm-it-ta°âmi, wa ifshâ° is-salâmi, wa suhbat-il-kirâmi, bi-Tawlika, yâ Malja'-al-âmilîna
O Allah, on this day, let me have mercy on the orphans, and feed [the hungry], and spread peace, and keep company with the nobleminded, O the shelter of the hopeful
9th day of Ramadan
Allâhumma aj°al lî fîhi nasîban min Rahmatik-al-wâsi°ati, wa-hdinî fîhi li-Barâhînaka as-sâti°ati,, wa khuth bi-nâsiyatî ilâ mardhâtika-l-jâmi°ati, bi-mahabbatika yâ amal-al-mushtâqîna
O Allah, on this day, grant me a share from Your mercy which is wide, guide me towards Your shining proofs, lead me to Your all encompassing pleasure, by Your love, O the hope of the desirous
10th day of Ramadan
Allâhumma aj°alnî fîhi min al-mutawakkilîna °aleyka, wa-j°alnî fîhi min al-fâ'izîna ladayka, wa-j°alnî fîhi min al-muqarrabîna ilayka, bi-Ihsânika yâ ghâyat-at-tâlibîna
O Allah, on this day, make me, among those who rely on You, from those who You consider successful, and place me among those who are near to you, by Your favour, O goal of the seekers
11th day of Ramadan
Allâhumma habbib ilayya fîhi-l-ihsâna, wa karrih ilayya fîhi-l-fusûqa wa-l-°isiyâna, wa harrim °aleyya fîhi-l-sakhta wa-n-nîrana, bi-°awnika, yâ Ghiyâth al-mostaghîthîna
O Allah, on this day, make me love goodness, and dislike corruption and disobedience, bar me from anger and the fire [of Hell], by Your help, O the helper of those who seek help
12th day of Ramadan
Allâhumma zayyinnî fîhi bi-s-sitri wa-l-"afâfi, wa-sturnî fîhi bi-libâs-il-qonû°i wa-l-kafâfi,wa-hmilnî fîhi °alâ-l-°adli wa-l-insâfi, wa âminnî fîhi min kulli mâ akhâfu, bi-°ismatika yâ °ismat-al-khâ'ifîna
O Allah, on this day, beautify me with covering and chastity, cover me with the clothes of contentment and chastity, let me adhere to justice and fairness, and keep me safe from all that I fear, by Your protection, O the protector of the frightened
13th day of Ramadan
Allâhumma tahhirnî fîhi min ad-danasi wa-l-aqthâri, wa sabbirnî fîhi °alâ kâ'inât-il-aqdâri, wa waffiqnî fîhi li-t-toqâ wa sohbat-il-abrâri, bi-°awnika yâ qorrata °ayn-il-masâkîna
O Allah, on this day, purify me from uncleanliness and dirt, make me patient over events that are decreed, grant me the ability to be pious, and keep company with the good, by Your help, O the beloved of the destitute
14th day of Ramadan
Allâhumma lâ tu'âkhithnî fîhi bi-l-°tharâti, wa aqilnî fîhi min-al-khatâyâ wa-l-hafawâti, wa lâ taj°alnî fîhi gharadhan li-l-balâyâ wa-l-âfâti, bi-°izzatika yâ °Izza-l-muslimîna
O Allah, on this day, do not condemn me for slips, make me decrease mistakes and errors, do not make me a target for afflictions and troubles, by Your honor, O the honor of the Muslims
15th day of Ramadan
Allâhumma ar-zuqnî fîhi tâ°at al-khâshi°îna, wa-shrah fîhi sadrî bi-inâbat il-mokhbatîna, bi-Amânika yâ Amân-al-khâ'ifîna
O Allah, on this day, grant me the obedience of the humble expand my chest through the repentance of the humble, by Your security, O the shelter of the fearful
16th day of Ramadan
Allâhumma waffiqnî fîhi li-mowâfaqat-il-abrâri, wa jannibnî fîhi morâfaqat-il-ashrâri, wa âwinî finî bi-Rahmatika ilâ dâr il-qarâri, bi-Ilâhiyyatika yâ Ilâh-al°'âlamîna
O Allah, on this day, grant me compatability with the good, keep me away from patching up with the evil, lead me in it, by Your mercy, to the permanent abode, by Your Godship, O the God of the worlds
17th day of Ramadan
Allâhumma ahdinî fîhi li-sâlih-il-a°mâli, wa-qdhi lî fîhi-l-hawâ'ija wa-l-âmâla, yâ man lâ yahtâju ilâ-t-tafsîri wa-s-so'âli, yâ °âliman bimâ fî sudûdr -il-°âlamîna, salli °alâ Mohammadin wa âlihi at-tâhirîna
O Allah, on this day, guide me towards righteous actions, fulfil my needs and hopes, O One who does not need explanations nor questions, O One who knows what is in the chests of the (people of the) world. Bless Muhammad and his family, the Pure
18th day of Ramadan
Allâhumma nabbihnî fîhi li-barâkâti as-hârihi, wa nawwir fîhi qalbî bi-dhiyâ’i anwârihi, wa khoth bi-kulli a°dhâ'î, ilâ-t-tibâ°i âthârihi , bi-Nûrika yâ Monawwira qulûbi il-°ârifîna
O Allah, on this day, awaken me with the blessings of its early mornings, Illuminate my heart with the brightness of its rays, let every part of my body follow its effects, by Your light, O the illuminator of the hearts of those who know
19th day of Ramadan
Allâhumma waffir fîhi hadh-dhî min barkâtihi, wa sahhil sabîlî ilâ khayrâtihi, wa lâ tahrimnî qabûla hasanâtihi, yâ Hâdiyan ilâ-l-Haqq-il-mubîni
O Allah, on this day, multiply for me its blessings, and ease my path towards its bounties, do not deprive me of the acceptance of its good deeds, O the Guide towards the clear truth
20th day of Ramadan
Allâhumma af-tah lî fîhi abwâb-aj-jinâni, wa aghliq °annî fîhi abuâb-an-nîrâni, wa waffiqnî fîhi li-tilâwat-il-Qur'âni, yâ Munzil-as-sakînati fî qulûb-il-mo'minîna
O Allah, on this day, open for me the doors of the heavens, and lock the doors of Hell from me, help me to recite the Qur'an, O the One who sends down tranquility into the hearts of believers
21st day of Ramadan
Allâhumma aj°al lî fîhi ilâ mardhâtika dalîlan, wa lâ taj°al li-sh-shaytâni fîhi °aleyya sabîlan, wa-j°al-il-jannati lî manzilan wa maqîlan yâ qâdhiya hawâ'ij-it-tâlibîna
O Allah, on this day, show me the way to win Your pleasure, do not let Shaytan have a means over me, make Paradise an abode and a resting place for me, O the One who fulfills the requests of the needy
22nd day of Ramadan
Allâhumma aftah lî fîhi abwâbi fadhlika wa anzil °aleyya fîhi barakâtika, wa waffiqnî fîhi li-mûjibâti mardhâtika, wa askinnî fîhi buhbûhâti jannâtika, yâ mujîbu da°wat-il-mudh-tarrîna
O Allah, on this day, open for me the doors of Your Grace, send down on me its blessings, help me towards the causes of Your mercy, and give me a place in the comforts of Paradise, O the one who answers the call of the distressed
23rd day of Ramadan
Allâhumma agh-silnî fîhi min-ath-thonûbi, wa tahhirnî fîhi min al-°oyûbi, wa am-tahin qalbî fîhi bi-taqwâ-l-qolûbi, yâ moqîla °atharât-il-mothnibîna
O Allah, on this day, wash away my sins, purify me from all flaws, examine my heart with (for) the piety of the hearts, O One who overlooks the shortcomings of the sinners
24th day of Ramadan
Allâhumma innî as'aloka fîhi mâ yurdhîka, wa a°ûtho bika mimma yo'thîka, wa as'aloka-t-tawfîqa fîhi li-'an utî°aka wa lâ a°sîka, yâ Jawâd as-sâ'lîna
O Allah, on this day, I ask You for what pleases You, and I seek refuge in You from what displeases You, I ask You to grant me the opportunity to obey You and not disobey You, O One who is generous with those who ask
25th day of Ramadan
Allâhumma aj°alnî fîhi mohibban li-awliyâ'ika, wa mo°âdiyan li-°a'dâ'ika, mostannan bi-sunnati khâtami anbiyâ'ika, yâ °âsiman qulûb an-nabiyyîna
O Allah, on this day, make me among those who love Your friends, and hate Your enemies, following the way of Your last Prophet, O the Guardian of the hearts of the Prophets
26th day of Ramadan
Allâhumma aj°al sa°yî fîhi mash-kûran, wa thanbî fîhi magh-fûran, wa °amalî fîhi maqbûlan, wa °aybî fîhi mastûran, yâ Asma°a-s-sâmi°îna
O Allah, on this day, make my efforts worthy of appreciation, and my sins forgiven, my deeds accepted, my flaws concealed, O the best of those who hear
27th day of Ramadan
Allâhumma ar-zoqnî fîhi fadhla laylati-l-qadri, wa sayyir umûrî fihi min al-°usri ilâ-l-yosri, wa-qbal ma°âthîrî, wa hutta °annî ath-thanba wa-l-wizra, yâ Ra'ûfan bi-°ibâdihi-s-sâlihîna
O Allah, on this day, bestow on me the blessings of Laylatul Qadr, change my affairs from (being) difficult to (being) easy, accept my apologies, and decrease for me [my] sins and burdens, O the Compassionate with His righteous servants
28th day of Ramadan
Allâhumma waffir hadh-dhî fîhi min an-nawâfili, wa akrimni fîhi bi-ihdhâr-il-masâ'ili, wa qarrib fîhi wasîlati ileyka min bayna-l-wasâ'ili, yâ man lâ yash-ghalaho ilhâhu al-molihhîna
O Allah, on this day, grant me a share in its nawafil (recommended prayers), honor me by attending to my problems, make closer the means to approach You, from all the means, O One who is not preoccupied by the requests of the beseechers
29th day of Ramadan
Allâhumma ghash-shinî fîhi bi-r-rahmati, wa ar-zuqnî fîhi at-tawfîqa wa-l-°ismati, wa tahhir qalbî min ghayâhib-t-tuhmati, yâ Rahîman bi-°ibâdihi-l-mo'minîna
O Allah, on this day, cover me with Your mercy, grant me in it success and protection, purify my heart from the darkness of false accusations, O the Merciful to His believing servants
30th day of Ramadan
Allâhumma aj°al siyâmî fîhi bi-shukri wa-l-qabûli, °alâ mâ tardhâho wa yardhâho ar-rasûlu mohkamatan forû°oho bi-l-usûli, bi-haqqi sayyidinâ Mohammadin wa âlihi at-tâhirîna, wa-l-hamdo lillâhi Rabbi-l-°âlamîna
O Allah, on this day, make my fasts worthy of appreciation and acceptance, according to what pleases You, and pleases the Messenger, the branches being strengthened by the roots, for the sake of our leader, Muhammad, and his purified family. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds
Ramadan is not merely for fasting. This month brings immense blessings for Muslims. The importance of this month is evident from the following hadith:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed, and the devils are chained." (Sahih al-Bukhari Book 30, Hadith 9)
