Between the Yemeni Corner and the Black Stone

Also known as Rukn Al Janubi, the Yemeni corner is the southwestern corner of the Holy Ka’abah and is parallel to the Black Stone- Hajr e Aswad. Among the four corners of the Ka’abah that are not covered with the kiswah, the Yemeni corner is one. This corner is named as such because this corner of the Ka’abah faces Yemen.

Making dua between the Yemeni corner and the Black Stone is a profound moment where Muslims, be it on hajj or umrah, can strive to touch the stone and seek Allah's mercy and love. This instance is also a reminder that standing in the house of Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى), one is being the closest to experiencing their spiritual connection with Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى). One can make all their heartfelt supplications but in humility and gratitude to Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) for His blessings.
