Abdullah bin Amr (رضي الله عنه) narrates that He saw the Prophet (ﷺ) count the glory of Allah on His right hand. The same hadith has been narrated in Abu Dawud with different words. Imam Albani has written the exact hadith in Albani as Sahihul- Jami'As-Saghir 4/271 (no. 4865). In another narration, Abdullah Bin Amru said: "I saw the Prophet (SAW) counting the glorification of his Lord on his right hand." [Hisnul 266] [Abu Dawud, At-Tirmizi 5/521.]
Praising Allah Duas
Islam emphasizes greatly on remembering Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) and saying Tasbeeh. The impact of it can be seen when the beloved daughter of the Prophet (ﷺ ) asks for a helper. The Prophet (ﷺ) said when you go to bed, repeat Takbir 34 times, Tasbih thirty-three times, and Tahmid thirty-three times, and that is better than the servant for you. (Sahih Bukhari 2727). Another hadith in Tirmidhi 3410 says two characteristics guaranteeing Jannah are very easy, but few people still act on them. It is to remember Allah after prayers and before going to bed. A hadith in Tirmidhi 3583 signifies the importance of making tasbeeh on fingers. The Prophet (ﷺ) said to hold fast to At-Tasbih, At-Tahlil, and At-Taqdis and count them upon your fingers because the fingers will be questioned and made to speak on the day of judgment.
The benefits of reciting tasbeeh are manifold. Out of the countless benefits, a few are described below under the light of authentic ahadith.
