(194) بَابُ التَّفْرِقَةِ بَيْنَ الاحْدَاثِ
Salim ibn 'Abdullah reported from his father that 'Umar used tosay to his sons, "Separate in the morning and do not meet together in thesame house. I fear that you might split up or that some evil may take placebetween you."
(195) بَابُ مَنْ أَشَارَ عَلَى أَخِيهِ وَإِنْ لَمْ يَسْتَشِرْهُ
Ibn 'Umar saw a shepherd with some sheep in a bad place and sawa place which was better than it. He told him, "Woe to you, shepherd! Movethem! I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant himpeace, say, 'Every shepherd is responsible for his flock.'"
(196) بَابُ مَنْ كَرِهَ أَمْثَالَ السَّوْءِ
Ibn 'Abbas reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and granthim peace, said, "We do not give a bad example. The one who takes backhis gift is like the dog who returns to his own vomit."
(197) بَابُ مَا ذُكِرَ فِي الْمَكْرِ وَالْخَدِيعَةِ
Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah blesshim and grant him peace, said, "The believer is guileless and generouswhile the corrupt is a swindler and miserly."
