(253) Chapter: Mutual help in scarcity and famine
26

Salama ibn al-Akwa' reported that the Prophet, may Allah blesshim and grant him peace, said, "As for your sacrifices, none of you shouldhave any of it left in his house after a period of three days. When thefollowing year came, they aid, 'Messenger of Allah, should we do the sameas we did last year?' He said, 'Eat and store up, That was a year in whichwe were in difficulty and I wanted you to help."
