(202) بَابُ سِبَابِ الْمُسْلِمِ فُسُوقٌ

(202) Chapter: Reviling a Muslim is deviant behaviour

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا فُلَيْحُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِلاَلُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: لَمْ يَكُنْ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَاحِشًا، وَلاَ لَعَّانًا، وَلاَ سَبَّابًا، كَانَ يَقُولُ عِنْدَ الْمَعْتَبَةِ: مَا لَهُ تَرِبَ جَبِينُهُ.


Anas said, "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and granthim peace, was neither coarse nor a curser nor a reviler, He used to saywhen he wanted to censure someone, 'What is wrong with him? May his browbe dusty!'"
