(483) Chapter: A man eating with his wife

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي خَارِجَةُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ رَافِعِ بْنِ مَكِيثٍ الْجُهَنِيُّ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ سَرْجٍ مَوْلَى أُمِّ صَبِيَّةَ بِنْتِ قَيْسٍ وَهِيَ خَوْلَةُ، وَهِيَ جَدَّةُ خَارِجَةَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهَا تَقُولُ: اخْتَلَفَتْ يَدِي وَيَدُ رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ.
Umm Habiba bint Qays (Khawla) was heard to say, "My hand and thatof the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, mixedtogether in the same vessel."
