Muhammad ibn Hilal reported that he saw the rooms of the wivesof the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. The rooms weremade of palm trunks covered with hair. The transmitter (Muhammad ibn AbiFudayk) said, "I asked him about 'A'isha's room and he said, 'Its doorfaced Syria.' I asked, 'Was it one or two spans?' 'Its door was one span,'he replied. I asked, 'And what was it made of?' He said, 'From cypressor teak wood.'"
