17

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Salim ibnAbdullah from Abdullah ibn Umar that the Messengerof Allah, may Allahbless him and grant him peace, used to raise his hands to the level ofhis shoulders when he began the prayer and when he raised his headfrom the ruku he raised them in the same way, saying, "Allah hearswhoever praises him, our Lord and praise belongs to You." He did notraise them in the sujud.
