(9) بَابُ يَبَرُّ وَالِدَيْهِ مَا لَمْ يَكُنْ مَعْصِيَةً
'Abdullah ibn 'Amr said, "A man came to the Prophet, may Allah blesshim and grant him peace, wanting to do jihad. The Prophet asked, 'Are yourparents alive?' 'Yes,' he replied. he said, 'Then exert yourself on theirbehalf.'"
