Most Angolan Muslims follow the Sunni school of thought, but even the combined community makes up less than a percent of the total population. It's also a diverse community here, with most individuals immigrating from the Middle East, West Africa, etc. While there have been some conversions among native Angolans, Islamic organizations are hard to find. Technically speaking, Angolan Muslims do have religious freedom according to the national constitution.

Talatona Mosque is one more mosque in Luanda that's worth visiting for its welcoming and peaceful atmosphere. With Jummah congregations every week, newcomers get a great chance to get in touch with their Muslim neighbors. While this is an excellent meeting and praying spot for a tiny community, keep in mind that it's still struggling. If the management doesn't get more donations and volunteer work, we may not see this organization around for too long.
