3. Al-Shouyoukh Mosque

 

Al-Shouyoukh Mosque is located in Souq Waqif at Al-Muhandiseen Street in Doha. This mosque was built next to the palace of Sheikh Abdullah bin Jassim. It is also known by the name "The Great Mosque." The mosque can fit over 1000 people in its prayer hall. It is one of the oldest and widest mosques in Doha. It holds both Friday prayers and sermons.
