'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī
تفسير : (and the wizards) who were 70 in number (came to pharaoh, saying) to pharaoh: (surely there will be a reward for us) you will give us a gift (if we are victors) against moses.
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : and the sorcerers came to pharaoh, saying, ‘surely (a-inna: read pronouncing both hamzas, or by not pronouncing the second one, but inserting an alif between the two in both cases) there will be a wage for us if we are the victors?’
