We have sent down this Exposition, and We will guard it.

Tafseer
'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī
تفسير : (lo! we, even we, reveal the reminder) we sent gabriel with the qur'an, (and lo! we verily are its) the qur'an's (guardian) from satans such that they do not add or diminish from it anything nor change its judgements; it is also said that this means: we are guardian of muhammad (pbuh) from the disbelievers and satans.
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : verily it is we (nahnu emphasises the subject of inna, or [functions as] a separating pronoun) who have revealed the remembrance, the qur’ān, and assuredly we will preserve it, against substitution, distortion, additions and omissions.
