15 - Al-Hijr

قَالَ فَاخْرُجْ مِنْہَا فَاِنَّكَ رَجِيْمٌ۝۳۴ۙ
Qala faokhruj minha fainnaka rajeemun

Tafseer

'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī

تفسير : (he said) allah said to him: (then go thou forth from hence) from the form of angels; it is also said that this means: go forth from my favour and mercy; and it is also said that this means: go forth from the earth, (for verily you are outcast) accursed and banished from my mercy.

Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī

تفسير : said he, ‘then be gone from hence, that is, from the garden — but it is also said, from the heavens — for you are indeed accursed, outcast.
