'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī
تفسير : (and we made plain the case to him) we commanded him to go to sa'ar, (that the root of them (who did wrong)) the people of lot (was to be cut at early morn) in the morning.
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : and we conveyed, we revealed, to him the matter, which was, that these [sinners] was to be eradicated by morning (musbihīn is a circumstantial qualifier,), in other words, their annihilation will take place in the morning.
