20 - Ta-Ha

تَنْزِيْلًا مِّمَّنْ خَلَقَ الْاَرْضَ وَالسَّمٰوٰتِ الْعُلٰى۝۴ۭ
Tanzeelan mimman khalaqa alarda waalssamawati alAAula

Tafseer

'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī

تفسير : (a revelation) he says: the qur'an consists of the words spoken (from him who created the earth and the high heavens) he raised them one above the other,

Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī

تفسير : a revelation (tanzīlan, a substitution, standing in place of the [conjugated] verb [derived] therefrom which renders it [tanzīlan] accusative) from him who created the earth and the high heavens (‘ulā, the plural of ‘ulyā, similar [in pattern] to kubrā, kubar, ‘large’);
