'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī
تفسير : (oh, that we had another turn) in the life of the world, (that we might be of the believers!
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : if only we had another turn, [another] return to this world, we would have been among those who believe!’ (law, ‘if only’, here is for [the conditional] optative, to which nakūna, ‘we would have been’, constitutes the response).
