تفسير : (and we gave them the clear scripture) we gave them the torah which made clear the lawful and the unlawful,

تفسير : and we gave them the enlightening scripture, the one whose statements concerning prescribed punishments and rulings and otherwise are excellently expressed — this is the torah.
