Tafseer
'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī
تفسير : (therefore (o believers) pray unto allah) therefore worship allah, (making religion pure for him (only)) by means of worship and attestation of allah's divine oneness, (however much the disbelievers be averse) even if the people of mecca dislike it.
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : so supplicate god, worship him, devoting [your] religion purely to him, [free] from any idolatry, however much the disbelievers be averse, to its being free of such [idolatry].
