'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī

تفسير : (then he drew nigh) gabriel drew near muhammad (pbuh); and it is said: muhammad (pbuh) drew near to his lord (and came down) closer,

Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī

تفسير : then he drew near, he came close to him, and drew closer still,

Sahl al-Tustari

تفسير : then he drew near and drew closer still,he said:that is, he approached, drawing closer and closer.his words, exalted is he:
