Fatharnee waman yukaththibu bihatha alhadeethi sanastadrijuhum min haythu la yaAAlamoona

So leave those who deny this Discourse to Me. We shall lead them step by step to (ruin) in a way they will not know.

Tafseer
'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī
تفسير : (leave me) o muhammad ((to deal) with those who give the lie to this pronouncement) to this scripture. (we shall lead them on) i.e. those who mock the qur'an (by steps from whence they know not) from whence they perceive not. and allah did indeed destroy them-they were five people-in one night and one day.
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : so leave me [to deal] with those who deny this discourse — the qur’ān. we will draw them on by degrees, we will seize them little by little, whence they do not know.
Sahl al-Tustari
تفسير : so leave me [to deal with] whoever denies this discourse…he said:that is, leave him in my charge, for i will suffice you regarding his affair, so do not let your heart become preoccupied with him.his words, exalted is he:
…we shall draw them on by degrees whence they do not know.he said:we shall leave them with their heads bowed over, diverted in their preoccupation with it [the world] from the duties that they should perform for us, such that they forget to show gratitude towards us, so we shall seize them whence they do not know. his words, mighty and majestic is he:
