Meditate upon the name of your Lord morning and evening;

'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī
تفسير : (remember the name of thy lord) pray by the command of your lord (at morn and evening) i.e. the prayers of fajr, zuhr and 'asr.
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : and mention the name of your lord, during prayer, at dawn and with the declining of the sun, that is, at dawn (fajr), noon (zuhr) and in the afternoon (‘asr);
