They say: "Then this returning will be a dead loss."

Tafseer
'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī
تفسير : the prophet (pbuh) said to them: “indeed, allah will raise you again from the dead”. (they say: then that would be a vain proceeding) that would be a failed attempt, because it will never happen.
Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī
تفسير : they will say, ‘that, return of ours to life, then, if it were true, would be a ruinous return!’.
