'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī

تفسير : (when the seas are poured forth) into each other, the sweet into the salty, such that they become one sea,

Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī

تفسير : and when the seas are burst forth, released one upon the other, forming one mass of water, so that the sweet [water] mixes with the salty;
