104 - Al-Humaza

يَحْسَبُ اَنَّ مَالَہٗۗ اَخْلَدَہٗ۝۳ۚ
Yahsabu anna malahu akhladahu

Tafseer

'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abbās / Muḥammad al-Fīrūzabādī

تفسير : (he) the disbeliever (thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal) in the life of the world.

Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī

تفسير : he thinks, in his ignorance, that his wealth will make him immortal, never to die.

Sahl al-Tustari

تفسير : he thinks that his wealth will make him live forever.he said:that is, [he thinks] it will make him live forever in the abode of permanent subsistence (dār al-baqāʾ). it has also been said: [he thinks] it will make him live forever, [saving him from] death.his words, exalted is he:
