(333) بَابُ قَوْلِ الرَّجُلِ لِلرَّجُلِ: وَيْلَكَ
Jabir said, "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and granthim peace, was at al-Ji'rana on the Day of the Battle of Hunayn with thespoils in the custody of Bilal. The Prophet was dividing them out. A mancame up to him and said, 'Be just! You are not being just!' The Prophetsaid, 'Bother you! Who will be just if I am not just?' 'Umar said, 'Messengerof Allah, let me strike off the head of the hypocrite!' The Prophet said,'This man is with his followers who recite the Qur'an and it does not gobeyond their throats. They pass through the deen as an arrow passes throughthe target (i.e. nothing of it remains on the arrow).'"
