(107) بَابُ هَلْ يَقُولُ: سَيِّدِي؟
Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him andgrant him peace, said, "None of you should say 'my slave ('abdioramati)' and a slave should not say, 'my lord (rabbi orrabbati)'.They should say, 'my boy' or 'my girl' (fatayi andfatati)and 'my master' or 'mistress' (sayyidi andsayyidati)'. Allof you are slaves, and the Lord is Allah, Almighty and Exalted."
