Mashhad is located in the Kashaf River valley in northeastern Iran. It is the easternmost of Iran’s major cities and is a hub for trade with the countries that border Iran to the east. Every Muslim should try to offer their prayers with the congregation as it is beloved to Allah and His Prophet (ﷺ).
